Thyroxium 100 Tablet interacts with medications including:

• Calcium and Iron supplements: The concomitant use can reduce absorption; take these medicines at least 4 hours apart.
• Antacids (Aluminum hydroxide, Sucralfate): The concomitant use can reduce absorption of these medications.
• Cholesterol-lowering agents (Cholestyramine, Colestipol): Bile acid sequestrants and ion exchange resins are known to decrease levothyroxine absorption.
• Blood thinners (Warfarin, Heparin): The concomitant use may increase bleeding risk.

Avoid consuming soy-based foods and high-fibre meals close to your dose, as they can interfere with absorption.

Thyroxium 100 Tablet interacts with conditions, including:

• Cardiovascular diseases: This tablet can increase heart rate and blood pressure.
• Adrenal insufficiency: This tablet should not be used until the adrenal function is stabilised.
• Diabetes: This tablet may alter blood sugar levels, requiring dose adjustment of antidiabetic medications.

An overdose of Thyroxium 100 Tablet can cause rapid or irregular heartbeat, tremors or nervousness, insomnia, sweating, heat intolerance, increased appetite and weight loss. If you suspect an overdose, seek medical attention immediately.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for a missed one.
