Tide E 10 Combikit Tablet is used for the following:

• Improving survival rates in patients with left ventricular systolic dysfunction and showing clinical signs of heart failure after a heart attack

Here's how you should take Tide E 10 Combikit Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Ensure to take it at the same time each day for consistent effects.

• It's crucial not to exceed or lessen the instructed dose without your doctor's advice.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Tide E 10 Combikit Tablet is taken orally.

Tide E 10 Combikit Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Tablet A: Eplerenone (25 mg): This ingredient acts as a selective aldosterone receptor antagonist. By blocking the actions of aldosterone, a hormone that increases the reabsorption of sodium and water in the kidneys, eplerenone reduces water retention and lowers blood pressure. This action also decreases strain on the heart.

• Tablet B: Torsemide (10 mg): As a loop diuretic, torsemide works on a part of your kidneys called the ascending limb of the loop of Henle. It prevents the reabsorption of sodium, chloride and water which are then excreted in urine. This process reduces fluid overload and oedema – swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in body tissues.
