Using the Tinaderm Solution involves some straightforward steps. Here's what you need to do:

• Ensure that the affected skin area is clean and thoroughly dry.

• Apply a thin layer of the solution over the affected skin.

• Remember to apply especially between the toes in case of an athlete's foot.

• After application, wash your hands to avoid spreading the infection.

Tinaderm Solution contains two active ingredients:

• Tolnaftate (10 mg): This antifungal ingredient works by inhibiting the enzyme squalene epoxidase which plays a crucial role in the production of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. By disrupting the synthesis of ergosterol, tolnaftate damages the integrity of the fungal cell membrane leading to the death of fungal cells and the resolution of the infection.

• Glycol 400: While not actively fighting against fungi itself, it serves as a carrier for tolnaftate, helping in the spreading and absorption of the medicine on the skin surface.

• Store Tinaderm Solution at room temperature, ideally between 2°C and 30°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
