Topaz is an anticonvulsant medicine primarily used to treat seizures or fits. Medicines used to treat fits or seizures are called anticonvulsants or antiepileptic drugs. It is also used as a psychiatric medicine and known as a “mood stabiliser”.

It is mainly used as a stand-alone drug for seizures or support therapy for seizures. Other uses are the treatment of migraine headaches.

The effect of Topaz after taking it is usually seen in 2-3 hours. Drink plenty of water while taking Topaz tablets. It will reduce the risk of stones formation in the kidneys. Topaz is indicated for children and adults with variations in dose and regimen.
