Triolmesar 40 Tablet is used for the following:

• Helping manage high blood pressure, also known as hypertension

• Assisting in lowering the overall workload on the heart

• Aiding in the excretion of excess salt and water from the body

• Improving blood flow by relaxing blood vessels

• Useful for patients who need multiple medications to control their blood pressure

Here's how you should take Triolmesar 40 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with enough water. It's not necessary to chew or crush it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food, as per your preference.

• Always stick to the dose recommended by your doctor. Don't increase or decrease it on your own.

• It's crucial not to abruptly stop taking this medicine. If you want to discontinue, discuss it first with your doctor.

Triolmesar 40 Tablet is taken orally.

Triolmesar 40 Tablet contains three active ingredients each with a unique role:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This ingredient works as a calcium channel blocker. It stops calcium from entering certain cells in your heart and blood vessels. This action relaxes and widens your blood vessels which improves blood flow.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This is a type of diuretic often referred to as a water pill. It increases urination which helps remove excess salt and water from your body. This action reduces the amount of fluid flowing through your blood vessels, which lowers pressure within the vessels and helps lower your blood pressure.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (40 mg): This component belongs to a class of medicines known as angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). It prevents angiotensin II, a substance in the body that causes blood vessels to tighten, from binding to its receptors on the blood vessels. As a result, blood vessels relax and lower the blood pressure. It also reduces the release of a hormone that causes salt and water retention, further helping to lower blood pressure.

• Store Triolmesar 40 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• Shield it from light and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Keep the medicine in a tight, light-resistant container.

• Always keep it out of reach of children for safety reasons.

• Use the medication before its expiry date to ensure it works effectively.

• Limit your salt intake: Excessive sodium can increase blood pressure, counteracting the effect of Triolmesar 40 Tablet which is aimed at managing hypertension.
