Uniderm Cream is used for managing the following conditions:

• Dermatitis and eczema: Inflammation of the skin, resulting in itchy, red, and swollen skin.

• Ringworm: A common fungal infection that appears as a ring-like rash on the skin.

• Athlete's foot: A fungal infection that usually begins between the toes.

• Jock itch: A fungal infection that causes a red, itchy rash in the groin area.

• Impetigo: A highly contagious skin infection causing sores and blisters.

• Infected wounds or burns: Infections in wounds or burns caused by bacteria or fungi.

• Clean and dry the affected area before application.

• Gently rub a thin layer of cream to cover the entire affected area.

• Wash your hands thoroughly after application unless your hands are being treated.

• Apply the cream according to your doctor's instructions.

• Keep using Uniderm Cream for the whole duration of treatment, even if symptoms improve. Always consult your doctor for specific advice.

Uniderm Cream is a potent combination of four active ingredients, which work together as follows:

• Betamethasone: This corticosteroid works by reducing inflammation. It suppresses your immune system's response and decreases the production of substances that cause inflammation.

• Clioquinol: As an antifungal and antibacterial agent, clioquinol interferes with cellular functions of fungi and bacteria, disrupting their growth.

• Gentamicin: An antibiotic, gentamicin works by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit in bacterial cells, inhibiting protein synthesis and leading to bacterial cell death.

• Tolnaftate: This component is an antifungal agent. It disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, a critical component of fungal cell membranes, thereby preventing the growth of fungi.

• Keep Uniderm Cream at a steady room temperature.

• Save it from excessive heat and freezing conditions.

• Maintain the cream in its original container and tightly closed.

• Always put it out of children's reach.

• Make sure you use the cream before its expiry date.

• If you're dealing with skin infections such as ringworm or athlete's foot, keep the affected area clean and dry. Moisture can worsen fungal infections.
