Uriliser 334/1100 MG Liquid 100 ML

Uriliser Syrup is used in the following conditions: 

• Treatment of acidosis: Uriliser Syrup helps treat acidosis by neutralising excess acid and restoring the proper pH balance in the blood. It also promotes the excretion of excess acid through alkaline urine.
• Prevention of gout: This syrup also aids in preventing gout attacks. It helps dissolve uric acid crystals and hinders their formation in the joints, reducing the risk of gout.
• Prevention of kidney stones: Uriliser Syrup also hinders kidney stone formation.

• Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose of the syrup.
• Take Uriliser Syrup daily, preferably with a meal or after meals and at bedtime.
• Keep the bottle well-capped after use.
• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Uriliser Syrup should be taken orally.

Uriliser Syrup contains the following components: 

• Potassium citrate (1100 mg): It is a urinary alkaliser that reduces the acidity of urine, making it less conducive to forming kidney stones. It also assists in dissolving uric acid crystals in gout patients and neutralises excess acid in the blood during acidosis treatment.
• Citric acid (334 mg): It is a weak organic acid that helps in the body's acid-base balance. It acts as an alkalising agent to neutralise the excess acid to restore the proper pH levels in the blood.

• Store this medicine in a cool, dry, and dark place. 
• Keep Uriliser Syrup away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Limit the intake of purine-rich foods, such as organ meats (liver, kidneys), shellfish, and certain fish (e.g., anchovies, sardines) that can raise uric acid levels.
• Limit oxalate-rich foods, such as spinach, rhubarb, beets, nuts, and chocolate, if you are prone to calcium oxalate stones.
• Stay hydrated with plenty of water to help flush out excess acids from the body.
• Limit sodium intake as high sodium levels can increase calcium excretion, potentially contributing to certain kidney stones.
