The Ursocol SR 450 tablet is used in the:

• Treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC)
• Dissolution of small gallstones
• Treatment of liver disease linked with cystic fibrosis in children (6 to 18 years)

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

The Ursocol SR 450 tablet is taken orally. 

Ursocol SR 450 tablet contains the following components:

• Ursodeoxycholic acid (450 mg): It enhances the solubilisation of cholesterol in bile, reducing the formation and promoting the dissolution of gallstones. This mechanism is particularly relevant for small gallstones that may not be visible on X-ray.
• It exhibits hepatoprotective properties, protecting the liver cells from damage. It is particularly beneficial in conditions like primary biliary cirrhosis, contributing to the overall health and function of the liver.

The storage instructions for the Ursocol SR 450 tablet are as follows:

• Ursocol SR 450 tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Include bell peppers, citrus fruits, leafy vegetables, and tomatoes in your daily meals. These are rich in essential nutrients.
• Integrate milk, fish, and low-fat dairy products into your diet to ensure an adequate calcium intake.
