Precautions

Notify your physician if you have an allergy to Vermact 12mg Tablet, antiparasitic drugs, or any other medications. Inform your physician if you are taking any prescription or over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, nutritional supplements, or other herbal preparations. Inform your doctor if you have ever had meningitis, human African trypanosomiasis (a disease caused by the tsetse fly), or HIV. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding. Notify your physician if you have ever had a worm infection or if you have ever lived in West or Central Africa. Consult your physician immediately if you have blurred vision, seizures, difficulty walking, or neck pain.

Interactions Between Drugs

Vermact 12mg Tablet may have an interaction with sedatives (phenobarbital and butalbital), anti-anxiety medications (clonazepam and lorazepam), narcotic medications (sodium oxybate), and antiepileptic medications (valproic acid).

Consuming alcohol while taking Vermact 12mg Tablet may interact with it.

Vermact 12mg Tablet should be used cautiously in individuals who have meningitis, human African trypanosomiasis, or HIV.
