Xarb 300 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Protection of the kidneys in type 2 diabetes

• Widening narrowed blood vessels

Follow these instructions while taking Xarb 300 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well.

Xarb 300 MG Tablet 10 contains irbesartan (300 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blocks Angiotensin II Receptors: Irbesartan prevents a hormone called angiotensin II from binding to its receptors in your blood vessels. This hormone commonly causes blood vessels to tighten and narrow.

• Relaxes Blood Vessels: By blocking the action of angiotensin II, this medicine helps your blood vessels relax and widen. This relaxation improves blood flow throughout your body.

• Reduces Blood Pressure: The widening of blood vessels decreases blood pressure, reducing strain on the heart.

• Protects Kidney Function: In patients with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure, irbesartan helps protect the kidneys by reducing pressure in the blood vessels of the kidneys, slowing down kidney damage.

• Reduce your salt intake, as high sodium consumption can raise blood pressure and reduce the effectiveness of Xarb 300 MG Tablet 10 in managing hypertension.

• Aim for 30 minutes/day of physical activities such as brisk walking, cycling, swimming, yoga, at least 5 days/week. It helps lower blood pressure and improve cardiovascular health.
