Zucapride-M 500 Tablet is used in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve blood sugar control when a single medicine is not enough.

Uses of Zucapride-M 500 Tablet are:

• Blood Sugar Control: Helps lower blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes.
• Heart Failure Risk Reduction: Helps reduce the risk of hospital admission for heart failure in people with diabetes and cardiovascular risk factors.
• Combination Therapy: Used when single-medicine treatment does not control blood sugar well enough.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.

• Take this medicine once daily, preferably with your morning meal.

Zucapride-M 500 Tablet is taken orally.

Zucapride-M 500 Tablet consists of the following two components:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): As an SGLT2 inhibitor, dapagliflozin reduces the absorption of glucose in your kidneys and lowers the renal threshold for glucose. This action leads to increased urinary glucose excretion and a subsequent decrease in blood glucose levels. This process does not depend on insulin secretion or action.
