Zyrop 10000 Injection is primarily used to manage anaemia caused by chronic kidney disease and cancer chemotherapy. This medicine belongs to the class of erythropoiesis-stimulating agents.
Apart from this, the medicine is also used for anaemia associated with zidovudine therapy in HIV patients and to reduce the need for allogeneic red blood cell transfusions in patients undergoing elective, noncardiac or nonvascular surgery. This medication is not meant as a replacement for blood transfusions in emergencies or to manage anaemia caused by other reversible factors.
