Candid Gel is a topical antifungal cream. It's used to treat ringworm, athlete's foot, diaper rash, sweat rash, and vaginal thrush, among other fungal skin illnesses. It kills fungi by damaging the cell membrane of the fungus. Candid Gel should only be used externally. Use it according to your doctor's instructions for dosage and duration. To obtain the best benefit from this medicine, it should be used on a regular basis. If you use more than you need, you may experience greater adverse effects. Inform your doctor if your problem persists for more than four weeks or worsens at any time. By keeping the affected area clean and dry and washing hands before and after treating the illness, the effectiveness of this treatment can be enhanced. If you have athlete's foot, make sure you wash your socks or tights properly and, if feasible, change your shoes on a daily basis.
