Dersil Af Body Wash 100ml

Dersil-AF Body Wash is used for managing the following conditions:

• Dermatophytosis including athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm

• Cutaneous candidiasis

• Seborrheic dermatitis

• Pityriasis versicolor

• Wet the skin area affected by the fungal infection.

• Apply a small amount of Dersil-AF Body Wash and create a lather.

• Massage the lather gently into your skin for about 30 to 60 seconds, concentrating on the infected areas.

• Rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry.

• Repeat these steps once or twice daily, or as directed by your doctor.

Dersil-AF Body Wash is applied topically.

The active ingredient in Dersil-AF Body Wash is Ketoconazole (2%). It works on your body in two main ways:

• Inhibits Ergosterol Synthesis: Ketoconazole blocks the formation of ergosterol, a vital component in fungal cell membranes.

• Increases Fungal Cell Permeability: By preventing ergosterol synthesis, ketoconazole increases the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, causing cellular contents to leak out and leading to fungal cell death. As a result, it manages the growth and spread of fungus on your skin.

• Keep Dersil-AF Body Wash tightly sealed at a cool room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Store it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Do not freeze this body wash.

• Always ensure it's out of reach of children.

• Use the product before its expiry date indicated on the packaging.

• Maintain good personal hygiene to prevent the spread of fungal infections. Regularly clean your body, especially the areas prone to fungal growth such as the groin, feet, and underarms.

• Wear breathable clothing that keeps your skin dry and reduces the chance of fungus thriving on your skin. Try to avoid tight, synthetic clothes as they may lead to excessive sweating and create a favourable environment for fungal growth.
