Figolax Drops are used for the following:

• Helping to manage constipation in infants: The drops stimulate bowel movements, assisting with the passage of hard, dry stools.

• Reducing discomfort associated with infant constipation: These include straining during defecation and infrequent bowel movements.

• Supporting healthy digestion in infants: This medicine contains natural ingredients that promote the proper functioning of the digestive tract.

Give Figolax Drops to your child as suggested below:

• Use the provided dropper to measure the recommended dose.

• Give the drops directly into your infant's mouth. For very young infants, they may be mixed with a little breast milk or water.

• Keep the bottle well-capped after use.

• If constipation persists beyond a few days of using the drops, consult your doctor for further advice.

Figolax Drops contain several active ingredients working together:

• Umbar phal (Ficus carica) (170 mg): A fruit of the fig tree, umbar phal is rich in fibre, which adds bulk to stools and aids their passage through the intestines. It also contains enzymes that help with digestion.

• Amalaparni (Rheum emodi) (30 mg): Known as Himalayan rhubarb, amalaparni possesses laxative properties due to anthraquinone glycosides. These stimulate the large intestine and promote peristalsis, a series of contractions in your intestine that helps move stool along.

• Honey (200 mg): Honey acts as a mild laxative by drawing water into the intestines, softening stools and easing their passage. Additionally, its natural sugars provide energy to intestinal muscles.

• Saunf (Foeniculum vulgare) (600 mg): Commonly known as fennel, saunf seeds contain volatile oils that act as carminatives and antispasmodics—relieving bloating, gas and cramping associated with constipation.
