Laxof Suspension 170ml is used in the following conditions:

• Management of occasional constipation
• Assisting bowel movements when they're less frequent than three times a week
• Softening hard, dry, or lumpy stools
• Minimising straining during bowel movements
• Alleviating feelings of incomplete evacuation after bowel movements
• Reducing abdominal discomfort or bloating associated with constipation.

• Shake the bottle well before use to ensure a uniform consistency.
• Measure the right quantity using the measuring cup provided.
• Take the medicine orally with a full glass of water.
• It's best to take this medicine on an empty stomach, at least two hours after or before meals.
• If your constipation continues for more than seven days despite taking this medicine, consult your doctor.

The activity of Laxof Suspension 170ml comes from two active ingredients:

• Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia) (11.25 ML): This is an osmotic laxative that draws water into the intestines. The increased water content softens the stool and makes it easier to pass. Magnesium hydroxide also aids in bowel evacuation by stimulating the movement of the intestines.
• Liquid Paraffin (3.75 ML): As a lubricant laxative, liquid paraffin coats both the stool and the intestinal walls. By doing so, it prevents water absorption from the bowel, keeping the stool soft and promoting easy passage through the colon.
