Patanjali Divya Mulethi Kwath is used to manage hyperacidity, acid peptic discomfort, and persistent spasmodic coughs. It features pure Mulethi (Liquorice) as its single herbal active ingredient. This formulation works by coating and soothing inflamed gastrointestinal mucosa to neutralise excess stomach acid while simultaneously acting as a natural demulcent and expectorant to liquefy bronchial mucus and relieve throat soreness.

• Mulethi (Glycyrrhiza Glabra): Mulethi, also known as liquorice root, is renowned for its soothing properties. It is commonly used in traditional medicine to help alleviate coughs and sore throats due to its anti-inflammatory and demulcent effects. Mulethi contains glycyrrhizin, which may help reduce irritation in the respiratory tract, making it effective for respiratory ailments. Additionally, it supports digestive health by helping promote the secretion of digestive juices and managing acidity and heartburn.

• Take 5 to 10 gm of Kwath powder in 400 ml of water and boil it till 100 ml of mixture is left.
• Then filter it and let it cool.
• Drink this empty stomach in the morning, ½ to 1 hour before breakfast and repeat this method in the evening and drink it ½ to 1 hour before meal or as directed by the physician.

• Store in a cool and dry place.
• Don’t empty the content of the pouch into the container and continue to use powder from the pouch. 
• Transfer the pouch to a suitable airtight container.
• Keep it away from children.
• Recap tightly after every use.
