Sagatear 0.5 % Eye Drop 10 ML are used for the following:

• Providing temporary relief from burning sensations in the eyes.
• Decreasing discomfort due to eye dryness.
• Reducing irritation caused by dry eyes.
• Assisting in the management of dry eye syndrome caused by factors such as prolonged screen time and ageing.
• Aiding in the management of dry eyes linked to medical conditions like Sjögren’s syndrome.

Here are steps on how to instill Sagatear 0.5 % Eye Drop 10 ML properly:

• Before instilling, make sure your hands are thoroughly clean.
• If you are wearing contact lenses, remove them first.
• Tilt your head backwards and pull down your lower eyelid to form a small pocket.
• Carefully squeeze a drop as directed by your doctor into your eye without letting the dropper touch your eye or any other surface. Repeat the same for the other eye, if it also needs treatment.
• Close your eyes gently and press at the corner of your eye for a minute or two.
• Wait for at least fifteen minutes before reinserting your contact lenses.

Sagatear 0.5 % Eye Drop 10 ML contain carboxymethylcellulose (0.5%), which works as follows:

• Retains Natural Tears: By increasing the tear film's viscosity, carboxymethylcellulose helps retain natural tears on the eye for a longer duration.
• Reduces Tear Evaporation: This ingredient reduces evaporation and provides longer-lasting lubrication.
• Protects Corneal Epithelium: Apart from lubrication, carboxymethylcellulose also has a protective effect on the corneal epithelium – the outermost layer of your eye's cornea.

• Keep Sagatear 0.5 % Eye Drop 10 ML in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature (below 30°C).
• Protect it from direct sunlight and moisture.
