Tetmosol Plus Cream 10gm

Tetmosol Plus Cream is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Ringworm of the body, known medically as Tinea corporis.

• Jock itch, a fungal infection affecting the groyne area, known as Tinea cruris.

• Athlete's foot, a common fungal infection of the feet, called Tinea pedis.

To use Tetmosol Plus Cream effectively, please follow these steps:

• Make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry before applying the cream.

• Rub a thin layer of the cream onto the infected area and surrounding skin gently.

• Apply the cream, as recommended by your doctor.

• Continue using the cream for the complete duration of treatment recommended by your doctor, even if symptoms improve early on.

• Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes during application. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Tetmosol Plus Cream is applied topically.

Tetmosol Plus Cream contains terbinafine (1%), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Inhibits Squalene Epoxidase: Terbinafine targets a specific enzyme called squalene epoxidase within the fungi. This enzyme plays a crucial role in helping fungi create ergosterol, a key component of their cell membranes.

• Disrupts Ergosterol Production: By blocking squalene epoxidase, terbinafine disrupts the production of ergosterol. As ergosterol is essential for maintaining the integrity of fungal cell membranes, its reduction leads to damage and eventual death of the fungal cells.

This dual action helps manage fungal skin infections effectively by targeting and eliminating the cause of infection at a cellular level.

• Store Tetmosol Plus Cream at room temperature, ideally between 20° to 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure that the cream is kept out of reach of children.

• Maintain good personal hygiene to prevent fungal infections. Keep your skin clean and dry, especially areas prone to sweating.

• Wear breathable clothing and footwear to reduce moisture buildup, which can provide an environment for fungi to grow.
