Age and Dose Restrictions

• The use of Benzalkonium Chloride + Brinzolamide + Timolol is typically restricted to adult patients with high IOP due to open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

Contraindications

• This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.
• It is also contraindicated in patients with bronchial asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sinus bradycardia, second or third degree atrioventricular block, and overt cardiac failure.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Benzalkonium Chloride + Brinzolamide + Timolol may interact with oral carbonic anhydrase inhibitors (such as acetazolamide), oral beta-blockers (like propranolol), high-dose salicylate therapy, centrally acting depressants (diazepam), catecholamine-depleting medicines (reserpine), and CY2D6 inhibitors (quinidine, fluoxetine).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• In case of suspected overdose with this medicine, immediate medical attention is required. Overdose may cause symptoms such as dizziness, headache, shortness of breath, or irregular heartbeat.
• If a dose of this medicine is missed, it should be administered as soon as possible. However, if it is nearing the time for the next dose, the missed dose should be skipped and the regular dosing schedule resumed. Doubling the dose to make up for a missed one is not advised.

Management of Side Effects
