Telma-AM H 40 Tablet is used in adults to manage high blood pressure (hypertension), usually when one or two medicines alone have not controlled it well enough.
It is a combination of telmisartan (an angiotensin receptor blocker), amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker), and hydrochlorothiazide (a diuretic). It relaxes and widens the blood vessels and helps the body remove excess salt and water, giving stronger blood pressure control. Take it exactly as prescribed. Keep taking it even when you feel well.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying active, keeping to a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol all help control blood pressure alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, gout, or diabetes, or if you are pregnant or planning to conceive, as it should be stopped in pregnancy. Your doctor may check your kidney function and potassium levels. Report marked dizziness, fainting, or muscle cramps promptly.
