Aciloc Only Solution is used for the following health conditions:

• Management and prevention of stomach and duodenal ulcers

• Alleviation of indigestion, dyspepsia, and heartburn due to acid reflux or excessive stomach acid

• Healing of oesophagal erosions and management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

• Prevention of acid aspiration during anaesthesia for surgical procedures

• This medicine should be taken orally.

• Measure the correct dose with a medicinal cup or spoon.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

Aciloc Only Solution contains ranitidine (75 mg), which affects the body as follows:

• Blocks Histamine: Ranitidine works competitively and reversibly by blocking the action of histamine at H2-receptors found mostly in the parietal cells of the stomach.

• Reduces Acid Secretion: By inhibiting histamine binding, ranitidine effectively reduces both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion regardless of the stimulus, resulting in a significant decrease in stomach acidity.

• Lowers Fluid Volume: Along with reducing gastric acid, ranitidine also diminishes pepsin secretion and gastric fluid volume.

This combination of actions makes ranitidine effective in managing several conditions related to excessive stomach acid production.

• Keep Aciloc Only Solution in a tightly closed container.

• Store at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Protect the medicine from light and moisture.

• Ensure it is always kept out of reach of children.

• Use the solution before its expiry date, and discard any remaining four weeks after opening.
