Acutret 20 Capsule 10

Acutret 20 Capsule is used to treat severe nodular acne that has not responded to other treatments. It is effective for managing recalcitrant nodular acne and controlling acne that has been unresponsive to conventional therapies, reducing inflammation and promoting skin healing.

To use Acutret 20 Capsule properly, please follow these instructions:

• Thoroughly follow the dosage and timing guidelines provided by your doctor for taking this medicine.
• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.
• Avoid discontinuing this medication without your doctor's advice. Always consult your doctor before stopping.
• Adhere to the diet plan recommended by your doctor.

Acutret 20 Capsule is taken orally.

Acutret 20 Capsule contains isotretinoin (20 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Reduces sebaceous glands' size and output: Isotretinoin dramatically reduces the production of the skin's natural oil (sebum) by approximately 90% or more. As sebum nourishes acne bacteria, this reduction hampers bacterial growth.
• Normalises keratinisation process: Isotretinoin helps normalise the process of skin cell growth and shedding, preventing blocked pores and reducing comedone formation.
• Reduces Cutibacterium acnes bacteria: By altering the skin's environment to less anaerobic, it indirectly reduces Cutibacterium acnes bacteria on your skin.
• Anti-inflammatory properties: It also has anti-inflammatory properties, although how exactly it achieves this is not yet fully understood.

• Store Acutret 20 Capsule at a temperature of 20° to 25°C.
• Keep the capsules out of direct light.
• Always keep it out of reach of children.
• Make sure to use it before the expiry date mentioned on the pack.

• As Acutret 20 Capsule manages severe acne, make sure you maintain a balanced diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains as they have antioxidants which can help reduce inflammation and promote clearer skin.
• To complement Acutret 20 Capsule's action, avoid excessive sun exposure. When outdoors, always use sunscreen and wear protective clothing to prevent sunburn and protect your sensitive skin.
