CompositionAdilin 40 Tablet SR 10 is used to treat and prevent peripheral vascular disease, a condition where blood vessels outside the heart and brain become narrowed, and to help prevent premature labour. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing isoxsuprine, and belongs to a class of medicines called vasodilators.
This medicine works by relaxing and widening blood vessels and muscles, including the uterine muscle, which increases blood flow to affected areas and delays uterine contractions in premature labour. It is used to manage conditions such as Buerger's disease, Raynaud's phenomenon and cerebral vascular insufficiency.
