Aerocort 100/100 Rotacaps is used for the long-term maintenance management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults and children aged 4 years and above, combining an inhaled corticosteroid and a bronchodilator to reduce airway inflammation and keep the airways open. They are not for the relief of a sudden attack.
It combines beclometasone (100 mcg) and levosalbutamol (100 mcg) per rotacap. Use it regularly as prescribed and rinse your mouth with water after each use.
Quitting smoking, avoiding known triggers and keeping to all monitoring appointments support better respiratory health alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any heart conditions or diabetes before starting. Always have a fast-acting reliever inhaler available for sudden attacks. Report worsening breathlessness or signs of oral thrush.
