Altraday Capsule 10

Altraday Capsule is used to treat pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It combines Aceclofenac to reduce swelling and discomfort with Rabeprazole to protect the stomach from acid-related side effects, providing relief from chronic pain.

• Take Altraday capsule SR as per the recommendations of the healthcare professional.
• One should take it regularly and consistently, as directed by your healthcare provider.
• Only discontinue the medicine after consulting your healthcare professional.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet. Swallow it whole with water. 
• Don’t change or stop taking the dosage before consulting your healthcare provider. Abruptly halting the Altraday capsule SR dosage can lead to withdrawal symptoms and worsen your condition.

The Altraday capsule SR should be administered orally as directed by a doctor.

• Aceclofenac: Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is commonly used for the treatment of pain and inflammation. It belongs to the class of drugs known as phenylacetic acid derivatives. Aceclofenac works by inhibiting the production of certain chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation, making it effective in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
• Rabeprazole: Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that is used to reduce the production of stomach acid. It is primarily prescribed for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastric ulcers, and duodenal ulcers. Rabeprazole works by blocking the enzyme responsible for acid production in the stomach, thereby providing relief from symptoms like heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion.

• Store Altraday capsule SR at room temperature below 30 ºC.
• Keep the capsule away from heat, moisture, and light.
• Keep it in its original container with the lid tightly closed.
• Do not store the medication in the bathroom or other damp areas.
• Keep the medication out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not use it after the expiration date printed on the packaging.
• If you need to dispose of any unused or expired medication, do so according to local regulations or guidelines. Do not flush medication in the toilet or pour it down the drain unless instructed to do so by your healthcare provider or pharmacist.

• Engage in physical activities as it keeps the muscles strong and may reduce the stiffness of the joint. Doing gentle exercises for 20-30 minutes, like walking, can help alleviate joint pain.
• Perform yoga to improve joint flexibility. It also helps in pain management.
• It is essential to perform low-strain exercises regularly as it helps to maintain weight.
• Eat a balanced diet to maintain the ideal weight.
• Other than diet and exercise, sleep is equally important. Adequate sleep relaxes the muscles and may reduce swelling and inflammation.
• Go for heat or cold therapy. Apply heat or cold compress on the sore joints to relieve swelling and pain. Follow each compression for 15-20 minutes, do this regularly.
• One can also go for acupuncture or massage that relieves and reduces the intensity of the joint pain.
• A balanced diet for individuals with rheumatoid arthritis should include foods rich in flavonoids, such as broccoli, grapes, berries, soy, and green tea. These foods may have anti-inflammatory properties and can potentially help reduce inflammation associated with the condition. 
• Additionally, a high-fiber diet with a high antioxidant content can assist in managing the long-term effects of medication.
• With the Altraday capsule, avoid foods that induce acid burns. Such foods include onions, caffeinated beverages, citrus fruits, tomatoes, chocolates, peppermints, and high-fat and spicy foods.
• When you are on this medicine, avoid consuming alcohol and smoking.

• Use the Altraday capsule SR as per the prescription.
• Only take the required dosage.
• Consult the doctor before you start taking the medication.
• If you experience side effects, immediately stop using it.
• One must use the Altraday capsule in recommended doses to avoid constipation, indigestion, nausea, and diarrhoea.
