Amlodac 5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and chest pain (angina). It works by widening blood vessels, which reduces the heart’s workload, lowers blood pressure, and supports improved heart function.
Whereas angina pectoris, commonly referred to as angina, is a condition characterised by chest pain or discomfort caused by reduced blood flow to the heart muscle. It typically occurs when there is an imbalance between the heart's oxygen demand and supply. The symptoms of angina include chest pain or discomfort, shortness of breath, fatigue, sweating and nausea and dizziness.
Amlodac 5 Tablet composition includes Amlodipine (5 MG) as its active ingredient that helps to regulate blood pressure and improve blood flow, thereby reducing the workload on the heart and enhancing cardiovascular health.
While Amlodac 5 Tablet is generally considered safe and effective, it might only suit some. Patients with severe aortic stenosis (a condition where the aortic valve of the heart is narrowed) and hypotension (low blood pressure) should not take Amlodac 5 Tablets until the doctor prescribes.
