Amlokind-2.5 Tablet contains a single active ingredient, Amlodipine (2.5mg). It works on your body in the following ways:

• Relaxes Heart and Blood Vessels: Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. It helps in relaxing the smooth muscles of the heart and blood vessels. This makes it easier for your heart to pump blood and improves blood flow in the coronary arteries.

• Reduces Blood Pressure: By widening or dilating the arteries, Amlodipine effectively reduces peripheral resistance, leading to a decrease in blood pressure.
