Amlosafe H 5/12.5 Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure in adults, helping to reduce the risk of severe health conditions such as stroke, heart attack and kidney problems that may arise due to persistent high blood pressure.

Uses of Amlosafe H 5/12.5 Tablet 10 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Combines a calcium channel blocker and a diuretic to relax blood vessels and remove excess fluid, lowering blood pressure effectively.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a sufficient amount of water. Do not chew or crush it.

Amlosafe H Tablet contains two active ingredients:

This action causes the blood vessels to widen, a process known as vasodilation, which improves the flow of blood. By doing so, amlodipine effectively reduces the workload on your heart and lowers your blood pressure.

It increases your urine output, thereby reducing the volume of fluid flowing through your blood vessels. This action of hydrochlorothiazide contributes to lowering your blood pressure.

• High sodium levels can raise your blood pressure, counteracting the effects of Amlosafe H Tablet. Opt for low-sodium versions of your favourite foods and reduce your use of table salt.

• Regular physical activity can help lower your blood pressure. Aim to get at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise each week. Consult your doctor before starting any new exercise regimen.
