Amoxyclav 1.2g Injection is administered intravenously.

Amoxyclav 1.2g Injection contain two active ingredients:

• Amoxicillin (1000 mg): This is a penicillin-type antibiotic that works by preventing bacteria from forming cell walls. The cell wall protects bacteria and keeps its contents from leaking out. By disrupting the formation of these protective walls, amoxicillin causes bacteria to burst and die.

• Clavulanic Acid (200 mg): This component doesn't act against bacteria directly. Instead, it blocks the activity of an enzyme produced by bacteria called beta-lactamase. Some bacteria produce this enzyme to resist the effects of antibiotics like amoxicillin. By blocking beta-lactamase, clavulanic acid allows amoxicillin to do its job more effectively.

• Keep it away from direct light and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.
