Angiplat-6.5 Capsule is used for the following:

• Preventing angina pectoris episodes, a type of chest pain caused by limited blood flow to the heart.

To ensure the best effect from Angiplat-6.5 Capsule, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the capsule as this can release the medication too quickly and increase the risk of side effects.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor, as it may worsen your condition.

Angiplat-6.5 Capsule is taken orally.

Angiplat-6.5 Capsule contains glyceryl trinitrate (6.5 mg) and works on the body in the following ways:

• Converts into Nitric Oxide: When taken, glyceryl trinitrate is converted into nitric oxide in the smooth muscle cells lining the blood vessels.

• Activates Guanylate Cyclase: Nitric oxide activates an enzyme known as guanylate cyclase. This enzyme boosts the levels of a substance called cyclic GMP in your body.

• Causes Vasodilation: The increased levels of cyclic GMP lead to the relaxation of the smooth muscles. This causes your blood vessels to widen, a process known as vasodilation.

• Reduces Heart Workload: By dilating the veins and arteries, including those supplying the heart, glyceryl trinitrate reduces the workload and oxygen demand of your heart muscle. This helps prevent angina attacks.

• Store Angiplat-6.5 Capsule at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep it in a tightly closed container, away from direct light and moisture.
