Ascoril LS Drops are used to treat productive coughs associated with conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and bronchiectasis. They work by loosening mucus, helping to clear chest congestion and making breathing easier. These drops may also be used for coughs related to tracheobronchitis and laryngotracheobronchitis in children, under appropriate dosage as advised by a doctor.

Administer Ascoril LS Drops to your child using the following steps:

• Always shake the bottle well before use.

• The drops can be given directly or mixed with a spoonful of water.

• Make sure you follow the doctor's advice on the frequency of administration.

• Never exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Store the medicine at room temperature, away from light and moisture.

Ascoril Ls Oral Drops 15Ml composition contains Ambroxol (7.5 Mg) + Guaifenesin (12.5 Mg) + Levosalbutamol (0.25 Mg) as its active ingredients.

• Levosalbutamol (0.25 mg/ml): This selective β2-adrenergic receptor agonist is a bronchodilator that relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways. It widens the bronchi and bronchioles, reducing resistance to air flow and allowing more air to move in and out of your child's lungs.
• Ambroxol (7.5 mg/ml): This mucolytic agent thins and loosens mucus in the airways, making it easier for your child to cough. It reduces mucus viscosity by breaking down mucopolysaccharide fibres and facilitating expectoration.

•  Guaifenesin (12.5 mg/ml): Known as an expectorant, guaifenesin increases the volume and reduces the viscosity of respiratory tract secretions. It enhances ciliary activity, promoting the removal of tenacious mucus from your child's airways.

   

• Store Ascoril LS Drops at room temperature, not exceeding 30 °C.

• Protect the product from light and moisture to ensure it remains effective.

• Once the bottle is opened, it should be used within a month.

• Always check the expiry date before giving this medicine to your child.

• If you are dealing with bronchial asthma or COPD, try to avoid exposure to dust, pollen, and other allergens that might trigger an attack. Wear a mask if necessary.
