Asthakind-DX Syrup is used for a dry cough with cold and allergy symptoms.

Uses of Asthakind-DX Syrup are:

• Dry Cough: Calms a dry, non-productive cough.
• Nasal Congestion: Relieves a blocked or stuffy nose.
• Allergy Symptoms: Eases a runny nose, sneezing and watery eyes.

• Shake well before use.
• Measure the dose using the provided measuring cup.
• Take as directed by your doctor based on your age, body weight and disease condition.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose or take it more often than prescribed.

This medicine is taken orally, by mouth.

Asthakind DX Syrup contains three active ingredients — chlorpheniramine maleate (2 mg), dextromethorphan hydrobromide (15 mg) and phenylephrine hydrochloride (5 mg). They all work together to relieve the symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections:

• Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, thus providing relief from allergy symptoms.
