It contains hydroxyzine, an antihistamine that reduces itching and swelling and has a calming, sedative effect on the nervous system.
Take it strictly as prescribed, using the measuring device provided. Because it can cause drowsiness, avoid driving or tasks needing focus right after taking it.
Tell your doctor about any glaucoma, urinary retention or heart rhythm problems before starting, as hydroxyzine can rarely affect the heart rhythm.
