Atchol-F Tablet is used to lower cholesterol and triglycerides.

Uses of Atchol-F Tablet are:

• High Cholesterol: Lowers harmful LDL cholesterol.
• High Triglycerides: Lowers raised triglyceride levels.
• HDL Support: May help raise good (HDL) cholesterol.

Use Atchol-F Tablet as follows:

• Take one tablet orally once a day.

• It's best to swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take it at any time during the day, with or without food.

• Never crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Always maintain a standard cholesterol-lowering diet throughout your treatment.

• Don't increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.

Atchol-F Tablet is taken orally.

Atchol-F Tablet is a combination medication with two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): This statin works by blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your liver. This enzyme is involved in cholesterol production. By inhibiting it, atorvastatin reduces the amount of cholesterol produced in the body. Moreover, it increases the number of LDL receptors on the liver cells' surface, which helps to remove LDL cholesterol from your bloodstream.

• Fenofibrate (160 mg): As a fibrate, fenofibrate activates a specific receptor called peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα). This action increases the breakdown of fatty acids and triglycerides in your body. It also reduces the production of a substance called apolipoprotein C-III that inhibits fat breakdown. Lastly, it promotes HDL cholesterol synthesis and helps clear LDL cholesterol from your bloodstream.

• Keep Atchol-F Tablet at room temperature below 30°C.

• Protect the medicine from light and moisture.

• Always store it in its original package.

• Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• Make sure to use Atchol-F Tablet before the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Maintain a healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol. This helps manage high cholesterol levels, for which Atchol-F Tablet is used.
