Atocor-CV 10 Capsule is used for the prevention of heart attack in patients with cardiovascular risk factors and decreasing the chances of stroke in individuals with a history of heart conditions or peripheral arterial disease. It is also prescribed for lowering the risk of heart attack and stroke in patients suffering from acute coronary syndrome (unstable angina and non-Q-wave myocardial infarction), and reducing the chances of myocardial infarction and stroke in patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
