CompositionAtorlip-40 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in adults. It is a single-ingredient statin containing atorvastatin.
It helps lower harmful LDL ("bad") cholesterol and raise protective HDL ("good") cholesterol, which reduces the risk of heart disease. Take it by mouth at any time of day, swallowed whole with water, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Follow a diet low in saturated fat by cutting down on fried food, ghee and butter, stay physically active, maintain a healthy weight and avoid excess alcohol.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Statins should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness, particularly with fever or feeling generally unwell. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
