B-29 AQ PFS Injection is used for managing the following conditions:

• Managing vitamin B12 deficiency caused by poor dietary intake, malabsorption disorders, or certain medicines.

• Alleviating symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, a condition affecting the nerves in the body.

• Correcting megaloblastic anaemia, a blood disorder where red blood cells are larger than normal.

Administer B-29 AQ PFS Injection as follows:

• Do not attempt to self-administer this medication.

• Never exceed the frequency of administration recommended by your doctor.

• Continue following your doctor's advice on the duration of use.

B-29 AQ PFS Injection is administered via an intramuscular route.

B-29 AQ PFS Injection contains Mecobalamin (1500 mcg). The following are its mechanisms of action:

• Homocysteine Conversion: Mecobalamin promotes the conversion of homocysteine to methionine. This process is essential for protein synthesis and various metabolic processes in your body.

• Red Blood Cell Production: Mecobalamin facilitates the production of red blood cells in your bone marrow, thereby managing anaemia.

• Nerve Protection: Mecobalamin supports the synthesis of myelin, a protective sheath around nerve fibres. This process helps maintain proper neurological function and manage conditions like peripheral neuropathy.

• Incorporate foods rich in vitamin B12 into your diet, such as dairy products, meat, and fish, to help manage conditions like vitamin B12 deficiency and megaloblastic anaemia.

• If you have peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes or other conditions, maintaining balanced blood sugar levels is crucial. Limit sugary foods and drinks, opting for whole grains, lean proteins, and fresh fruits and vegetables instead.
