Bilachek-M Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including nasal symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itching, as well as eye symptoms like watery or itchy eyes. It is suitable for both seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, helping improve comfort and reduce allergy-related symptoms. This medicine provides symptomatic relief but does not cure the underlying allergy.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Bilachek-M Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Bilastine (20 mg): As a non-sedating, second-generation antihistamine, bilastine works by blocking histamine activity at H1 receptors in your body. Histamine is a compound that's released during allergic reactions causing symptoms like sneezing, itching, runny nose and redness of eyes. By inhibiting this action, bilastine helps reduce these allergy symptoms.

• Montelukast (10 mg): This ingredient is classified as a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotrienes are chemicals produced in the body during an allergic reaction causing inflammation and swelling in the airways of the lungs. Montelukast blocks the action of leukotriene D4 (LTD4) at the cysteinyl leukotriene receptor CysLT1, helping to alleviate symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

The combination of bilastine and montelukast provides comprehensive symptom relief in allergic rhinitis by targeting two key mediators of the allergic response, histamine and leukotrienes.
