CompositionBilamont Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergies, such as sneezing, a runny nose, and itchy skin rashes.
It contains bilastine and montelukast. It combines an antihistamine with a leukotriene antagonist, which act through two different pathways to block the allergic response and reduce inflammation in the nasal passages. Take it in the evening, as it can occasionally cause drowsiness, ideally one hour before or two hours after a meal for the best absorption.
Avoiding known allergy triggers such as dust, pollen, and pet dander, and keeping windows closed during high-pollen periods, can help reduce allergy symptoms alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any history of kidney or liver disease. Avoid driving or activities needing alertness if you feel drowsy after taking it.
