Bisonext 2.5 MG Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension), chest pain (angina), and stable chronic heart failure. It contains bisoprolol, a cardio-selective beta-blocker that helps reduce the workload on the heart and maintain a steady heart rhythm.
Take this tablet as prescribed, with or without food, at the same time each day. Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, as high blood pressure and early heart failure often have no symptoms. Do not stop this medicine suddenly, as this can lead to a rapid rise in heart rate or chest pain.
Regular moderate exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, eating a balanced diet low in saturated fat and salt, limiting alcohol, and quitting smoking can support this medicine in managing your heart condition. Managing stress and getting adequate sleep can also help.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have asthma, a very slow heart rate, circulation problems in the hands and feet, or diabetes. It may mask some signs of low blood sugar in people with diabetes. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
