Brevipil 100 Tablet is used in adults and adolescents with epilepsy to control partial-onset seizures, often as an add-on to other anti-epileptic medicines to support effective seizure management.

• Partial-Onset Seizures: Helps control focal seizures by stabilising abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
• Add-on Therapy: Used alongside other anti-epileptic medicines when seizures are not fully controlled.

Here are the steps to correctly take Brevipil 100 Tablet:

• This medicine should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

Brevipil 100 Tablet contains Brivaracetam (100 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Binding to SV2A: Brivaracetam binds to a protein in the brain called synaptic vesicle protein 2A (SV2A), By binding to SV2A, Brivaracetam reduces the abnormal electrical activity in the brain that can lead to seizures.

• Stabilizing Nerve Activity: This medicine helps to stabilize the electrical activity of the nerves in the brain, which can prevent the spread of seizure activity.

• Store Brevipil 100 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep the medicine safely out of reach of children.
