Brimocom Eye Drops are used to lower raised pressure inside the eye in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, which helps protect the optic nerve and prevent vision loss.
It contains benzalkonium chloride, brimonidine and timolol. They combine two medicines that lower eye pressure in different ways, one by reducing the fluid the eye makes and one by increasing its drainage.
Put the prescribed number of drops in the affected eye as directed, then close the eye gently and press on the inner corner for about a minute to reduce how much is absorbed into the body.
Tell your doctor about any asthma, heart problems, low blood pressure or depression before use, as the components can affect these. Remove contact lenses first and wait 15 minutes before reinserting.
