Brinzagan 1% Ophthalmic Suspension 5ml is used to lower high pressure inside the eye in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing brinzolamide, and belongs to the class of carbonic anhydrase inhibitor medicines.

This medicine works by reducing the production of aqueous humour, the fluid inside the eye, which helps lower eye pressure and can be used for long-term management of glaucoma. Wash your hands and shake the bottle well before each use, and instil the drops into the affected eye as instructed by your doctor.

If the seal on the bottle is broken before first use, do not use it. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
