Canesten-S Cream is used for managing the following conditions:

• Tinea pedis, commonly known as athlete's foot

• Tinea cruris, widely known as jock itch

• The skin condition tinea corporis, often called ringworm

• The fungal infection candidiasis, which may affect various parts of the body

• Other fungal skin infections that cause inflammation, redness, itching and discomfort

Administer Canesten-S Cream with the following steps in mind:

• Before applying the cream, ensure the affected skin is clean and dry.

• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the area, gently massaging it into your skin until fully absorbed.

• Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly before and after use unless your hands are in the area being treated.

• Avoid applying the cream on open wounds or near your eyes or mucous membranes.

• Remember to consult your doctor for more specific instructions.

Canesten-S Cream works effectively due to its two active ingredients:

• Clotrimazole (10 mg): Belonging to the azole class of antifungal agents, clotrimazole halts the growth of fungi. It does this by disrupting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital part of the fungal cell membrane.

• Beclomethasone Dipropionate (0.25 mg): This component acts as a powerful corticosteroid. It reduces inflammation, itching, and redness by suppressing your body's immune response and decreasing the production of substances that cause inflammation in your skin.
