Castor Nf Cream 25gm

The Castor-NF skin cream is used in the following conditions: 

• Psoriasis 
• Eczema
• Corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses
• Athlete’s foot (Tinea pedis)
• Dhobie itch (Tinea cruris)

• Ensure your hands are clean before applying a layer of the cream to the affected area. 
• Unless otherwise directed, avoid covering the treated area with airtight dressings. 
• Avoid applying the cream to the face, groin, or underarms.

The Castor-NF skin cream is for external use only, so apply it to the affected area as directed.

Castor-NF skin cream contains the following ingredients:

• Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride (1% w/w): It is an antibiotic that impedes bacterial DNA synthesis, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth and reproduction.
• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05% w/w): It is a potent corticosteroid that mitigates inflammation, reducing redness, swelling, and itching associated with skin conditions.
• Metronidazole (1% w/w): Exhibiting antiprotozoal and antibacterial effects, metronidazole hampers the growth of certain microorganisms, contributing to the treatment of infections.
• Terbinafine hydrochloride (1% w/w): As an antifungal agent, terbinafine hydrochloride disrupts the synthesis of fungal cell membranes, impeding fungal growth and viability.

The storage instructions for Castor-NF skin cream are as follows:

• Castor-NF skin cream should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid harsh soaps, detergents, and abrasive fabrics to protect your skin.
• Regularly change your socks and cleanse your feet, steering clear of shoes that cause excess moisture.
• In damp environments like gyms and changing rooms, protect your feet with flip-flops or sandals to minimise the risk of fungal infections.
• Resist the urge to scratch affected areas, preventing the spread of infection.
• Avoid sharing personal items like towels, combs, and bedsheets to avoid contagion.
• Boost your immune system against allergies by incorporating probiotic-rich foods into your diet.
• Restrict the consumption of potential allergens like dairy, soy, eggs, and nuts. Minimise sugar intake to prevent inflammation.
