Chericof Syrup is used to relieve a dry cough, nasal congestion, a runny nose, sneezing and watery eyes linked with the common cold, flu and allergies. It eases upper-respiratory discomfort and the urge to cough.
It contains dextromethorphan, a cough suppressant, phenylephrine, a decongestant that clears a blocked nose, and chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine that eases sneezing and a runny nose.
Take it as prescribed, measuring the dose carefully. It may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or machinery afterwards.
Tell your doctor about any high blood pressure, heart problems, thyroid disease or glaucoma, or if you take antidepressants, before use.
