Cifran 500 Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including those of the urinary tract, lungs, throat, skin and gut, and certain sexually transmitted infections.

It contains ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It works by stopping bacteria copying their DNA, which kills them and clears the infection.
