Cilacar T 20/40 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure, especially when single medicines have not controlled it.

Uses of Cilacar T 20/40 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps manage high blood pressure (hypertension).
• Combination Therapy: Used when single-medicine treatment has not controlled blood pressure adequately.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Cilacar T 20/40 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Cilnidipine (20 mg): This ingredient acts as a calcium channel blocker. It works by preventing the entry of calcium ions into your body's blood vessel walls. As a result, your blood vessels relax and widen, reducing the resistance to blood flow and ultimately lowering your blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker. It works by blocking the action of a natural substance in your body called angiotensin II. By doing so, it widens your blood vessels and reduces the amount of water reabsorbed by your kidneys. This helps to lower your blood pressure.

• Store Cilacar T 20/40 Tablet at a cool room temperature, preferably below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in a dry area, shielded from light and moisture.

• Always keep the product out of children's reach.

• Ensure to use the tablet before its expiry date.

• Since Cilacar T 20/40 Tablet is used to manage hypertension, you should limit your salt intake. High salt consumption can increase blood pressure.
