Cintodac Capsule 10

Cintodac Capsule may interact with the following medications:

• Medications for HIV: Anti-HIV medications like atazanavir and nelfinavir when taken along with this tablet can decrease the efficacy of these medications.
• Anticoagulants: Pantoprazole can interact with anticoagulants like warfarin and may result in abnormal bleeding.
• Cardiac glycosides: Pantoprazole may increase the levels of cardiac glycosides like digoxin, thereby increasing the risk of toxicity.
• Methotrexate: Taking the capsule with methotrexate can lead to higher levels of methotrexate, resulting in toxicity.

Certain foods can affect how Cintodac Capsule works:

• High-protein foods: Foods like chicken, seafood, dairy products, lentils, eggs, etc., might increase the absorption of cinitapride, enhancing its effect.

Cintodac Capsule may interact with the following diseases:

• Liver disease: People with liver problems may need a lower dose as both cinitapride and pantoprazole are broken down in the liver.
• Kidney disease: If you have kidney problems, your doctor might adjust your dose; cinitapride is excreted through the kidneys and its level can increase in kidney disease.
• Atrophic gastritis: The medicine, if prescribed for a longer period, can worsen this condition.

You should take the daily dose of Cintodac Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may vary depending on factors like the severity of your condition and how you respond to the medicine.

If you accidentally take more than the prescribed dose of Cintodac Capsule, you might experience overdose side effects like headache, abdominal pain, and diarrhoea. If these symptoms persist or get worse, inform your doctor right away.

In case you miss a dose of Cintodac Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular dosage schedule. Never take an extra dose without consulting your doctor.
